Born and raised in Titusville, FL, Jayson values hard work and dedication. He has been a commercial beekeeper for 15 years and his commitment to caring for bees has led to creating this family-owned and operated honey farm located on the beautiful east coast of Florida. He thrives with the knowledge that his dedication to the bees is directly helping to sustain and increase bee populations, as well as support the local crops and environment. Jayson has been a mentor to other aspiring beekeepers, and he hopes to continue spreading the knowledge for many years to come!
For Joe, coming from a long line of farmers, beekeeping seemed like a natural choice. A passion for the environment coupled with a decade of experience as a commercial beekeeper, Joe is a proud co-founder of Indian River Honey Company. He strives to ensure our company stresses environmental responsibility with the goal of increasing honeybee populations, while working with local farmers and crop producers.
Nicole’s passion for honey and pollen began in a laboratory and ended on a family farm. After graduating from Florida Tech with a degree in Biology in 2011, Nicole began working in a research laboratory studying pollen grains and their morphological characteristics. Upon completing her MBA in Project Management, her interests expanded to include not only pollen and bees, but business operations as well.

OUR HIVES

Our beehives are sustainable and produce the best raw honey around.

We are committed to sustainable beekeeping practices that prioritize the health and wellbeing of our bees. This includes providing them with access to diverse sources of nectar and pollen, as well as minimizing the use of pesticides and other harmful chemicals. Our beehives are carefully maintained and monitored to ensure that the bees are healthy and productive. We work closely with other producers and use the latest techniques to manage our hives in a way that maximizes honey production, while minimizing stress on the bees.

Our honey is simply the best because it is produced from the highest quality nectar sources available. We take great care in extracting and processing our honey to ensure that it retains all of its natural health benefits and flavor.

OUR FLOWERS

Orange blossom honey, wildflower honey, and gallberry honey are three popular types of honey that each offer their own unique flavor and health benefits. Orange blossom honey is produced from the nectar of orange blossoms. It has a light, sweet flavor with citrus notes. It is high in antioxidants and is often used in teas and baked goods.

Wildflower honey is produced from the nectar of various wildflowers and plants and has a complex, floral flavor. The flavor of wildflower honey can vary depending on the location and season in which it is produced. It is often used as a natural sweetener. Local wildflower honey is great to allergies.

Gallberry honey is produced from the nectar of gallberry bushes, which are native to the southeastern United States. It has a rich flavor and is high in antioxidants and anti-inflammatory compounds. Gallberry honey is often used in savory dishes and as a natural remedy for sore throats and other respiratory ailments.
